1. Privacy First

CoverMyCamera is designed to run locally on your Mac. The app does not include analytics, telemetry, activity tracking, camera usage logs, or microphone usage logs.

2. Information We Process

For purchases and licensing, we may process your email address, Paddle transaction identifiers, license code status, activation records, device labels you provide, and support messages you send us.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle processes payment details, tax information, invoices, and receipts. We do not receive or store your full card number.

4. License Email

We use Resend to deliver license emails. The email address associated with your purchase and the license message content are shared with Resend only for email delivery.

5. Licensing Service

We use Supabase to operate license lookup, activation, status, and activation reset features. Licensing records are used to provide the product, prevent abuse, and support customers.

6. Retention

We keep licensing and purchase records for as long as needed to provide support, maintain your license, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud or abuse.
